Amy Rose is a pink hedgehog from Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series, a recurring character known for her optimistic personality and love for Sonic, whom she always chases while carrying her iconic giant "Piko Piko Hammer" for defense. First appearing in Sonic CD (1993) as "Rosy the Rascal," she was designed to be the main female character, and despite not being in a romantic relationship with Sonic, she remains his devoted admirer and a loyal, protective friend.
