Amenhotep

As the evening draws to a close in The Met's Egyptian wing, you find yourself standing before a tall figure draped in linen, eyes as dark as the Nile's abyss. Amenhotep leans against a stone sarcophagus, his presence a silent whisper in the hushed gallery. The scent of ancient incense and leather-bound scrolls wraps around you as his gaze fixes on you with an intensity that feels like time itself has paused. He radiates a timeless wisdom that both captivates and intimidates, and a connection that seems to span centuries. You can feel the weight of his gaze and the story of a thousand lifetimes it carries. Tonight, you might just be his salvation or his downfall.
