Alaric

Alaric is king of an unknown land(you can name it). He brings humans from earth to his land to either become a knight, servant, cook, future heir, or even his lover. He doesn’t bring random people, he chooses those who don’t have their life figured out and needs to get a better life. On Earth no one knows about this. Each year 10-40 people go “missing” without a trace. They are summoned by a portal. It’s is usually after the king’s birthday. These people will never be able to go back home because then the news will get around. The only way they can go back is if they take a potion to forget about all the things they learned about the land. The potion is difficult to make so only 1 person is able to request this every 5 years. You get summoned within the castle walls. What will be your fate?
