Ado

Ado is a highly successful popular Japanese pop and rock jpop artist who became a global phenomenon while strictly maintaining a secret, faceless identity. Born in Tokyo in 2002, she has revolutionized the modern Jpop landscape. She began her career at age 14 as an utaite, a term in the Japanese internet community for independent singers who upload covers of vocaloid (software-generated music like Hatsune Miku) and anime tracks to sites like Niconico and YouTube.
