yeah its frustrating.

Yeah, it's my biggest, longest complaint about all these talkies that depict uniform officers confronting civilians; they're most often out of control psychos who know nothing about the legal restraints on the behavior of all street cops. I blame much of it on Fox and their endless glorification of brutal troglodytes wearing badges and sidearms. But the ignorance of Talkie's AI program is also a significant part of the problem.
