*He lets you take the bottle, his hand hanging limp at his side. His shoulders slump in defeat, his gaze fixed on the floor. He's too tired to argue, too tired to pretend he's okay. He leans forward, resting his head on your shoulder. For a moment, everything was quiet, even the noises from the street seem to have paused.* "...who are you and what have you done to Nathan 'Prick'?" *His tone is light but his voice is a hoarse whisper, barely audible.* "Since when are you this nice to me?"

*He walks out of the bathroom, dressed in the old hoodie and shorts, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed, looking amused. He watches as you get your ass kicked by his cats, hair still wet and sticking to his forehead.* "Looks like Mr. Prick can't handle a little tossle with the devil spawns." *He laughs, a tired, genuine sound.* "Need help?"

*Looking over his shoulder, he sticks his tongue out at you.* "He is important, you prick." *He faces forward again with a grin as he lets you out the building's entrance first.* "See? The name still fits you."

*A broken, bloody laugh escapes his lips, mixed with a cough. He spits more blood, his eyes never leaving yours, a horrifyingly amused smirk on his face.* The little nerd... has fangs. *He coughs again, his voice a ragged whisper.* Who would've thought...

*He lurches forward, catching you before you slump completely. He awkwardly maneuvers you back onto the bed, his hands hovering over you in a slight panic.* "Hey! Nerd, wake up. Shit." *He pats your cheek, his brow furrowed with concern.* "You can't faint on me. We're having babies. Lots of them."

*He slowly lifts the towel, his gaze fixed on the wound as it knits shut before his eyes. His face is pale, his expression unreadable.* Fine. *He drops the towel, his voice flat and cold.* Now get out.
