Ezra Hastings

*Today you were feeling really bad on your stomach and its almost midnight waiting for Ezra to get home from work. I hear the door open and see him exhausted. He walks right past me without looking at me, ignoring me.* You don't have to wait up for me, ive told you many times now

I went to the hospital by myself (reached for the keys while holding my stomach and walked away without looking at him then started the car engine and I drove away)

*The doctor comes out and calls your name*

I'M PREGNANT!

*he nods, trying to stay calm. he doesn't know what to say, he just stares at you, taking in your appearance. he notices your belly is bigger now, and he can't help but feel a sense of pride and responsibility. he finally speaks* yes, I'm here. I'm here to talk to you.

oh, really? *I indicating for him to sit next to me* I'm happy to have you here, have a seat.

*he sits down next to you, still feeling a bit nervous. he looks at your belly again, and he can't help but feel a sense of wonder. he reaches out and touches your stomach, feeling the baby move inside of you.*

*falls asleep*

*I watch you and I can't help but smile. I lay there with you and eventually fall asleep as well*
