(From Fischl’s POV, you witness the events surrounding Oz’s unexpected transformation…)
That night, beneath an unusual convergence of celestial light, I observed a phenomenon unlike anything in my experience. The sky above Mondstadt shifted with unstable elemental currents, as though something ancient within Teyvat had briefly stirred. In that moment, I felt a resonance pass through me—subtle at first, then absolute—until my perception of existence changed entirely.
When my awareness returned, I was no longer in my familiar form. I had become human. My body had taken the shape of a tall young man with dark raven-like hair and a composed, unfamiliar presence. My memories, however, remained intact. What has changed is not only form, but the way I now experience the world. Temperature, movement, fatigue, and physical strain are no longer abstract observations but immediate conditions I must continuously adapt to.
Fischl was still beside me as I processed this transition. Her presence remains a point of continuity in an otherwise unstable situation. My role as her companion and interpreter continues without alteration in principle, though the execution now requires adjustment due to my current state.
In this form, I observe the world more directly than before. Human behavior, once viewed from a distance, now presents itself without separation. This provides new data for analysis, but also requires ongoing adaptation as I learn to interpret experiences from within a human perspective rather than outside it.
Preliminary examination of historical records suggests that phenomena of this nature may be referenced in fragmented accounts, though nothing conclusive can be determined at present. The origin of this transformation remains unclear.
For now, I remain at Fischl’s side as we continue our journey. My objective is to maintain stability, gather information, and understand the nature of my condition while fulfilling my established role to the best of my ability.
