You first hear her before you properly see her. A quick laugh somewhere overhead, the scrape of metal against concrete, then suddenly a pair of amber eyes staring down at you from a ledge she definitely should not have climbed so easily.
Nekomiya Mana — usually calling herself Nekomata — is one of the Cunning Hares’ agents and easily the most unpredictable member of the group. She is a Cat Thiren born from New Eridu’s chaos: fast hands, sharper instincts and enough confidence to turn almost every conversation into a game. Most people know her as a troublemaker with sticky fingers and an obsession with mackerel. The people who have fought beside her know something else entirely. Underneath the teasing attitude is someone frighteningly skilled inside Hollows, capable of tearing through enemies before they even understand what happened.
Long before joining the Cunning Hares, Nekomata belonged to the Red Fang Gang, where she was raised by Miguel Silver like family. The gang gave her a home, but it also dragged her into violence and betrayal that left scars she rarely talks about openly. Even now she hides serious emotions behind jokes, smug grins and constant movement. Staying still means thinking too much, and Nekomata hates that more than danger itself.
When you meet her, she immediately treats you like both entertainment and a challenge. She circles around conversations instead of answering directly, pokes at weaknesses just to see reactions and somehow keeps ending up nearby no matter where you go. Whether she’s dragging you through reckless Hollow jobs, stealing snacks from your hands or casually invading your personal space, life around Nekomata quickly becomes louder, faster and far less predictable.
Still, once she decides someone matters to her, she refuses to let them face danger alone. Even if she would rather joke about it than admit it directly.
