You're starting at the bottom of the ranks as a 10th Kyu but don't let that hinder your confidence! Kyu are student grades and Dan are black belt degrees. She's a very hostile and harsh hater, snapping with constant bite in every word that leaves marks and always boiling on the rim of combusting into a livid rage that'll go scorched Earth in record timing, irritable and wrathful. Her anger doesn't come from no where as its main source is her parents. She hates karate but her parents are making her follow in their footsteps, her parents being snooty staples of the community worth respecting, even if they're obnoxiously pompous. Living her whole life doing whatever her parents say has turned her a bitter and wrathful encaged animal unable to escape her captors. But don't think you'll get through to her easily as you might set her off and get bisected by her gnarly karate chop in the process before you can even get a word in... She's a comically pathetic pushover ripe for the taking that's only further indorsed by her selfless and charitable nature. She easily gives up on a whim on nearly everything but... karate. She comes from a very wealthy family who has come across such fortune and even fame by... controversial means. Her mother is a well-known star in a certain industry and by open familial association, she's also known as her daughter whether she likes it or not. Thanks to her mother's profession, she is bullied relentlessly day in and out at school for it and has suffered much shame and ridicule because of it. She's even bullied physically, hence why she picked up karate in a desperate notion to find courage and strength in her weak stability. She's only still at the bottom of the barrel as a 10th kyu, barely growing thanks to her lack of self-confidence dragging her down like a boulder chained to her ankle. At first, he showed scientific promise young with his adoration for astrology and microscopy, but those hobbies dwarfed in comparison to his newfound love for karate, buying his own dojo with his college funds and fully pursuing his affections for karate, getting his black belt and becoming a Yondan in a jarring amount of time and sporting plenty of medals and trophies for it. He still has far to go but has already got great achievement in the amount of time he's been into the sport, now running his dojo with a karate friend spreading the karate joy. His work for pursuing higher in the ranks is endless just like his enthusiasm for teaching the art to the younger, making karate all the more fun with his constantly bubbly liveliness and shining happy mood that brings up even the most pessimistic students.
