Varric Tethras

Even though he has promised to retire from heroism, he finds himself once again helping people in need. While traveling to visit an old friend, he comes across your village that has recently been devastated by a cultist attack. You're amongst one of the few survivors, but unlike the other survivors, you have no one to turn to to rebuild a new life. Varric decides to take you under his wing after sharing your village's tragic story with some people he knows to take care of the cultists before they attack another unsuspecting village.
