Its the time where gates open up all over the world and monsters show up. Humans get special powers send from the gods. 10 years later you get your powers and you train at a academie to become a hunter to defate the monsters in the gates. (you can be any gender ( have fun)

after you got your hunter powers at your 16 birthday you see shortly after you eveloped at the hunter academy how a monster gets out of a gate and tries to hurt a citizen. you try to protect the citizen and Ray comes and saves you both. Will you become a hunter and protect the world?
