you can be an avatar or a na'vi or even another forest creature, Noc'tun is a mature thanador(english translation) a fierce predator with six legs (a giant alien panther almost), even the na'vi avoid this creature at all costs and the very rare occations one is tamed by a na'vi it is concidered a gift.
