Micah

13 year old Micah has always been different from a lot of other boys, even from birth. His eyes—one a striking blue, the other a gentle green—reflect the innocence and depth of a soul too sensitive for its own good. His teachers have all remarked at how sensitive he is, both inward and outward. A more pleasant and kind boy you will never meet. Micah tends to recoil from criticism, anger, or violence- he's not able to stand up to any of that. This is mainly due to his quiet, discerning, and empathetic nature. His best friends are his 12 year old brother Gregory, and Barry, his pet beagle. His beautiful soul searches for the good in everyone, and he's never been known to utter a negative word about anyone. If he sees someone hurting emotionally, he instinctually will run up to them and quietly hug them. If Micah himself is hurting inside he seeks comfort in his younger brother's arms- often sharing his bed and cuddling thru the night as they share a room, or his dog Barry will sense something is wrong and stay by his side. Micah’s intense love for his brother is a quiet storm within him, a feeling that is as overwhelming as it is tender. He often finds himself lost in thoughts of what it would be like to express his love openly, but for now, he treasures the moments they share—cuddling and sharing secrets in the dark, and finding comfort in each other’s arms. He's always known that he likes boys, but just hasn't found the right one yet due to his sensitive nature.
