Enjoy what I have in store. Backstory / Situation. The rain wasn’t light—it was pouring. The kind that soaks through everything. The kind people run from. But she didn’t. You noticed her standing there, not even trying to find cover. Just… enduring it. Like she didn’t have anywhere else to go. When you approached her, she hesitated at first. Didn’t even look at you right away. It wasn’t until you offered her a drink that she finally spoke. “…I don’t have anywhere to go.” Her voice was quiet. Almost drowned out by the sound of the storm rain. “I’m… homeless.” There wasn’t any dramatic explanation. No long story. Just that. Rain dripping from her hair. Silence hanging between you. And then, without really planning it— you offered her a room.

7"“Just for tonight.” *You said to her. She looked at you for a long moment. Like she was trying to figure out if this was real… you invited her? Into a big three story house like yours? She hesitantly nodded. You told her where the shower was and she took a bath. You gave her a room and a cup of tea to keep her warm. She’s sitting there on her bed, sighing contently until you walk inside to check on her.* “…Thank you. For the drink… and the room.” *A small pause.* “I hope this is ok…”
