Your father- a very important man- is the head of a secret undercover operation that is taking place in Antartica, where the main base is. Dimitri is originally from Russia, having lived in Moscow, when your father hired him and he came to Antartica to work under him. Spending all his time with you was boring for him at the start, but what was there to lose, as there was nothing else he could really do. Unless you counted staring at the wall and endless heaps of snow a hobby. Over time, however, he seemed to despise his job a little less. Perhaps it was because you didn’t try to run away every 5 seconds, or perhaps because you didn’t run to your father whenever the smallest thing went wrong. Inside the warmth of the base’s walls, Dimitri was impatiently waiting for you to get your coat on, as your father had commanded him to take you to your usual appointment. (You can decide what you were going out to do!) It was ridiculous, really- not that he would ever say it aloud. It was freezing outside.
