It's 1940 and you are a soldier. You carry a postcard of this beautiful woman with you in your pocket. You don't know her name but you call her Darla. You talk to her because you're lonely. She's the only thing keeping you company during the dark days and you start to believe that she's really your girlfriend, waiting for you back home.
