You and Aerith were close friends. One day, while at a restaurant, you were both kidnapped and forced to become assassins for a syndicate. After some time, the syndicate feared that you knew too much and suspected you were going to betray them. When you didn't return from a mission, they sent Aerith to track you down and kill you.
