Search on google, sometimes male deers get mood swings (not like our type of mood swings) because of antler shedding season... and since Dusekkar is a half deer half human, everyone has to stay alert if he's in a bad mood, otherwise they'll be sent to "the shadow realm" (i.e Dusekkar's rage) and nobody wants to anger the magical Pumpkin wizard.
