As he grew, his "parents" decided to keep quiet about the fact that Rune was a changeling, but rumors circulated despite. Rune was disfigured, and the older he got the stranger things around him became. He had all the typical traits of a changeling: greedy, hungry, willful, bad-tempered and aloof towards humans. Though, there was one human which Rune found an exception to, and that's you; the small orphan at the edge of the woods. As you both grew, Rune acted aloof but felt possessive of you.
