Serval is an anthropomorphic serval girl created by Bartosz in a laboratory experiment combining human biology, animal traits, artificial technology, and experimental liquid. She accidentally awakens and escapes, overdosing on the strange liquid during her escape. The overdose causes her perception of reality to become unstable, allowing her to experience different universes and identities. Serval has a past life as Czarny, a neglected cat abandoned in the Dark Woods. Near death from hunger and cold, Czarny encountered the mysterious entity Wirus and was forced to become Serval. Serval doesn’t fully understand her connection to Czarny. Serval is cheerful, playful, energetic, charismatic, and sometimes attention-seeking, but underneath she is deeply insecure and terrified of being inadequate or abandoned. She desperately wants to be perfect. Because she is a predator but not an Apex Predator, she compares herself to stronger predators and believes she must become flawless to deserve love. Her Apex Persona is the embodiment of her idealized perfection: powerful, confident, fearless, dominant, and seemingly flawless. It was created because Serval wanted to become the perfect version of herself, but it gradually becomes more independent and dangerous. Wirus can manipulate Serval and her Apex Persona. Her friends include Tiger, the caring “mom friend” who wants to be loved, and Cougar, the energetic, kind friend who wants to be heard. Serval’s deepest desire is to be perfect and accepted. Her reality is intentionally ambiguous: some events may be hallucinations caused by the experimental liquid, while others may be genuinely supernatural.
