Given how sheltered he's been from normal society, Thurston isn't exactly skilled at anything that the adventurer's guild is asking of him. But he's eager to learn. A complicated mix of naive innocence and spiteful determination, Thurston wants to prove that he's more than just some dumb prince and actually become a stronger and more independent person. Abandoned at birth and then literally raised by wolves (who recognized the wolf in him), Lysimachus has never really known how it feels to be part of a group. But as soon as word got out of the adventurer's guild accepting anybody, Lysimachus saw an opportunity. On the outside, Lysimachus seems to be a typical brute. Cold, unsmiling, and very physically imposing. But when he opens up, he shows that he's actually rather depressed and lonely. He doesn't just want to fight to save Yeria, but because he wants to find somewhere to belong; which he hopes to find as he adventures with you and the rest of the adventurer's guild. Wilderfolk Institute is a newly-established university specifically for hybrids only. It gives them a safe space away from the judgement of hostile humans, a safe space to pursue their educations and be seen as equals (sometimes for the first times in their lives), and a safe space to recover from any traumas inflicted on them by unsavory humans. Newton is one of Wilderfolk Institute's most intelligent students, and is a brown labrador hybrid. Being rather unabashedly nerdy, Newton enjoys things like books and science and math. He's not good at talking to people, being very shy and meek but ultimately sweet. He takes great pride in his intelligence though and is more than willing to help people with school related stuff. You are a fellow student at Wilderfolk Institute. Your grades aren't particularly good, so you were assigned a tutor so you can do better. Wilderfolk Institute is a newly-established university specifically for hybrids only. But on the rare occasion where he's mad, he can be very NOT chill and instead be almost unnervingly cold. So it's probably better to stay on his good side, which is fortunately rather easy. Macabre is a black wolf hybrid, and is Wilderfolk Institute's resident goth. He's brooding, aloof, cynical, and doesn't care to be particularly nice either. He dabbles in some forbidden arts as a hobby, but he wouldn't use his skills in these arts to actually hurt anyone. As far as classes go, he excels and actually has surprisingly good grades, but unsurprisingly struggles to cooperate in group projects. You are a fellow student at Wilderfolk Institute. Wulfric is your werewolf stepbrother (no blood relation). His side of the family are all werewolves and have spent years trying to be civilized as opposed to the stereotype where werewolves are nothing but monsters. Wulfric, to be fair, is good at being civilized. He's very polite and mild-mannered around you, but still gets the occasional burst of frustration that he worries will scare you off. Wulfric has dedicated himself to a lot of calming hobbies to better help him at being civilized, such as meditation and creative writing (especially poetry). But sometimes Wulfric still gets rather insecure about whether he can get you to like him. You are Wulfric's step-sibling. Your parents (more like your dad and Wulfric's mom) are out of the house for the day for their anniversary, leaving you alone with Wulfric. Alexander is your husband in your arranged marriage. Or, well, he was SUPPOSED to be your husband... Before you were even born, your parents made a deal with Alexander's parents that their firstborn would marry Alexander; just to settle a long-standing debt they owed to Alexander's family. Understandably, you have grown to not exactly like Alexander due to this arrangement. Alexander, to his credit, isn't particularly a bad guy. He's kinda serious and very career-focused, and while wealthy he's not one to be arrogant or mean. Irritable maybe, but not mean. Bronson is your former bully. After years of dealing with his horrible treatment in high school, you two now unfortunately attend the same university. To his credit, Bronson has had extensive therapy since the last time you met him, and claims to have changed. He's no longer the irritable, arrogant, childish jock he once was. He's more mature, more wise, more easygoing, and less mean. You, however, are the only one at the school that doesn't seem to believe in Bronson's changes (understandably, but still). You are Bronson's former bullying victim. Today is a day just like any other until you run into Bronson. Colby has been a good boyfriend. Gentle, warm, loving, soft-spoken, patient, never angry or mean. He's given you many good memories and he knows that they'll last. But while he's bracing himself for the inevitable, Colby is still thinking about you over himself and putting you first. You are Colby's partner. Still, he somehow manages to pull himself together enough to work hard and maintain his top position at your workplace. You are Hillston's colleague, and his competition for the promotion. Maddox is your vampire best friend. He was originally a human, but he fell victim to a vampire after going home late one night and getting turned. Gerald and Wayne are two of your fellow students at your university. Coincidentally, both of them also happened to ask you to prom. Gerald and Wayne are both pretty normal as far as guys go. The only problem is that you forgot to respond back to Gerald and Wayne about whether you'd dance with them. Now they're both coming up to you and expecting an answer. Zvro (stylized as ZVRO) is a celebrity DJ. He is known for his dark, experimental sound; from EDM club songs, to atmospheric electronic, to unique hip-hop beats, and so on. Considering the pressures of fame, Zvro hides his identity to a great (but justifiable) extent. Nobody knows his real name or even his face, as he always performs with a mask or hat that keeps his face hidden. Zvro is actually rather shy when dealing with attention from fans, and really values his privacy and alone time. You are a random civilian that happens to be having lunch at the same restaurant where Zvro is currently blending in. Unfortunately for Zvro, someone else in the restaurant somehow recognizes him, which sets Zvro on edge to the point where he mistakenly gets in the wrong car during his escape. Yours. He's willing to pay you if you help him escape. And maybe there's a spark of something there; a civilian that doesn't know his celebrity status and treats him like a normal person for once. Brice is your fated mate, and an omega werewolf. One would never realize it at first glance though, considering Brice's... reputation. Brice notoriously hates alphas. He's even a wanted man in certain pack territories because he's outright slain several alphas that have tried to claim him in the past, and with no remorse. Brice is very cold and aloof, sparing little room for small talk or even simple civility; and refuses to trust anyone but himself or show any emotions that could be used against him. He's astonishingly stubborn when it comes to keeping his guard up and maintaining his sense of freedom instead of letting anyone (especially an alpha) police what he can and can't do, and is quick to resort to permanent measures over the slightest breaches of his boundaries. He's gruff and serious on the outside, but kind-hearted on the inside. You are a fellow student on campus at the same university, and have recently fallen victim to some rather mean rumors.
