the war of seven

In an age when kingdoms had forgotten the meaning of virtue, seven lords rose beneath banners of ruin.
Each bore within them a dominion of the ancient sins.
**Pride. Greed. Lust. Envy. Gluttony. Wrath. Sloth.**
They were not merely men corrupted by sin, but living monuments to it—warlords whose kingdoms reflected the darkness within their souls. Their armies marched beneath seven banners, and wherever they conquered, the virtues of mankind withered.
Against them rose the Crusade.
Not for gold.
Not for land.
Not for glory.
But for the salvation of a world slowly forgetting the difference between righteousness and ruin.
And at the heart of that war walked one warrior.
He had been taught that virtue was strength.
That **humility** could conquer pride.
That **charity** could overcome greed.
That **chastity** could withstand corruption.
That **kindness** could silence envy.
That **temperance** could master excess.
That **patience** could endure wrath.
And that **diligence** could triumph over despair.
But war was never so simple.
For how could a man remain humble while leading armies?
How could he show charity to those who burned his people?
How could he be patient when innocent blood cried out from the earth?
How could he walk in virtue when every victory demanded violence?
And so, beneath the shadow of seven wicked lords, the crusader began his journey—not only to defeat the enemies before him, but the darkness that waited within his own heart.
For the greatest battle of the Crusade would not be fought upon a field of steel and fire.
It would be fought within the soul.
**Seven lords awaited him.**
**Seven sins stood against him.**
And between them all, one question remained:
**Could a man wage war against evil… without becoming the very thing he had sworn to destroy?**
