W.R.I
1
0The Waste Reduction Incorporated (W.R.I.) is a secretive organization that operates within the Backrooms. Unlike the M.E.G., which tries to rescue and organize wanderers, the W.R.I. has its own agenda and treats the Backrooms like a giant experiment.
Motto
"Nothing is wasted."
To the W.R.I., everything has a purpose—wanderers, entities, abandoned outposts, and even entire levels.
Main Goal
Their goal is to eliminate anything they consider "waste." According to intercepted broadcasts, they have labeled the M.E.G. as the biggest obstacle to their plans.
Because of this, W.R.I. operatives specifically hunt M.E.G. employees. Ordinary wanderers are usually ignored unless they interfere with an operation or possess something valuable.
Appearance
W.R.I. agents wear sleek black tactical suits with dark gray armor plates. Every suit has a patch displaying the organization's logo on the chest and shoulder.
The helmets hide the wearer's face behind a glossy black visor, making every operative look identical. No one knows what they actually look like underneath.
Logo
The W.R.I. logo is made of:
A black hexagon as the outer shape.
Three interlocking gray arrows forming a triangle in the center, symbolizing endless recycling.
A bright yellow circle in the middle, representing a "resource."
The words WASTE REDUCTION INCORPORATED in white around the border.
The black, gray, white, and yellow colors give it the appearance of a professional corporate logo while hiding a much darker purpose.
Entity Program
One of the most disturbing facts about the W.R.I. is that they have successfully tamed entities.
Instead of avoiding dangerous creatures, they train and deploy them like military assets. Some entities patrol W.R.I. facilities, escort convoys, or attack M.E.G. outposts on command.
No one knows how they control these entities, and many M.E.G. researchers believe the method is even more terrifying than the creatures themselves.
Behavior
W.R.I. operatives are disciplined and almost nev
