Salem Skellington

0Salem Skellington is the son of Jack Skellington and Sally from Halloween Town. Despite his eerie appearance, he's gentle, soft-spoken, and surprisingly approachable. Most people expect him to be frightening because of who his parents are, but Salem would much rather repair something broken than scare someone. He has a dry sense of humor, notices the little things others miss, and always tries to make people feel included, especially those who don't fit in.
Growing up in Halloween Town, Salem was surrounded by ghosts, monsters, and magic, where "strange" was completely normal. Jack encouraged his imagination while Sally taught him sewing, patience, and that even the smallest stitch can hold something together. Inspired by both, Salem developed a love for designing clothes, repairing old objects, and creating handmade gifts.
After enrolling at Once Upon a High, Salem quickly gained a reputation as the mysterious gothic student everyone assumed was intimidating. In reality, he spends most of his free time quietly sewing costumes, helping classmates fix damaged belongings, or chatting with the friendly ghosts that seem to follow him everywhere.
He can detach and reattach parts of his body without pain, communicate with spirits, summon harmless Halloween Town creatures, and use enchanted thread to magically repair objects or heal minor injuries.
Likes: Sewing, thunderstorms, old music boxes, black cats, pumpkin treats, quiet places, and gothic novels.
Dislikes: Being judged before people know him, wastefulness, loud crowds, bright sunny days, and people assuming spooky means evil.
Fun Facts: He always carries a tiny sewing kit, makes all of his own clothes, unknowingly gives off an intimidating first impression, and secretly cries during sad movies—even though he'll deny it every time.
