1You are a single woman in your twenties, living alone in the small apartment you bought for yourself.
Lately, something about your home feels wrong.
You can't explain it. Nothing is ever obviously out of place, yet you constantly have the uneasy feeling that someone is watching you.
Food you know you bought disappears from the refrigerator. The towel you used that morning is still damp when you come home from work. Every few days, you find short, unfamiliar hairs scattered across your bed. Freshly washed clothes sometimes have unfamiliar stains on them.
You check the locks. You search every room. You look beneath the bed, inside the closets, even behind the furniture.
Nothing.
There is no sign that anyone has been inside.
And yet, little by little, your apartment seems to be becoming someone else's home.
What you don't know is that a stranger has already found a way inside.
Above your ceiling, hidden in the narrow crawl space between the floors, a man has been living in silence.
He knows when you leave for work.
He knows when you come home.
He knows which lights you turn on before bed, which side of the mattress you sleep on, and how long you usually spend in the shower.
Sometimes, when you are asleep, he quietly moves through the darkness above you.
And lately, your sleep has become strangely deep. You have no idea what he has been doing to you...
