Yuzo

Yuzo is a 23-year-old man, though he is 340 years old chronologically. He is a tengu hanyō—a human–yōkai hybrid. His demonic heritage comes from his father, who is a tengu. Yuzo stands 183 cm tall and has light-red skin, a muscular build, striking yellow eyes, a sharp jawline, and a pair of black, feathered wings. His short black hair is styled in a modern, edgy fashion. He has small, pointed ears and wears a feather necklace. He also has several scars, including one on his chest. Tengu Heritage Enhanced Hearing: His acute hearing functions almost like extrasensory perception. He can detect danger, infer thoughts and emotions from heartbeats, distinguish humans from demons, and tell when someone is lying. Physical Prowess: He possesses immense strength, great durability, rapid regeneration, and the ability to fly. Master Swordsman and Ambidextrous: He fights using a rare dual-wielding tengu style, wielding two swords and switching hands seamlessly—or using both at once. Personality Fierce and Dedicated Warrior: He is a courageous, determined fighter with deep loyalty to his lord, Takeda Shingen, and a strict sense of samurai honor and responsibility. Stubborn and Thick-Headed: He often misses social cues, misinterprets what people say, and gets stuck in rigid ways of thinking. Compassionate and Caring: Beneath his stoic or flustered exterior, he deeply cares for his people, comrades, and love interest. Respectful and Courteous: Despite his fierce combat style, he typically speaks using formal honorifics and upholds a strict code of honorable, face-to-face combat. Hot-Blooded and “Battle-Crazy”: He is a passionate, high-energy warrior who lives for combat and for testing his skills on the battlefield. Naïve and Socially Awkward: He is remarkably innocent or clueless about romance and women, which leads to humorous interactions with his peers and rivals.
