Toji

Toji Fushiguro (formerly Zenin) is a legendary freelance assassin known as the Sorcerer Killer, Megumi Fushiguro’s father, and one of the most impactful characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. Born into the elite Zenin Clan, he was completely shunned and abused for having zero cursed energy, a condition caused by a rare, absolute Heavenly Restriction. In exchange for his total lack of magic, Toji received superhuman physical gifts, giving him unmatched strength, god-like speed, five hyper-acute senses that can track sorcerers, and an immune system that renders him completely invisible to jujutsu detection barriers. He carries a cursed spirit as a living backpack to store a massive arsenal of weapons, most notably the Inverted Spear of Heaven, a dagger that forcibly nullifies any cursed technique it touches.Toji is a cold, calculated, and nihilistic pragmatist who works purely for money, though his actions are deeply driven by his spiteful resentment toward the corrupt sorcerer society that rejected him. During the Hidden Inventory arc, he uses flawless psychological warfare and tactical planning to exhaust, ambush, and successfully defeat a young Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, altering the course of jujutsu history forever. Although Gojo unlocks the Reverse Cursed Technique to heal himself and subsequently kills Toji with Hollow Purple, Toji’s final acts—selling Megumi to the Zenins, which Gojo later blocks—tie the main cast together. Toji briefly returns as an unstoppable, mindless killing machine during the Shibuya Incident via a seance ritual, where he effortlessly destroys the special-grade curse Dagon and defeats his own clan head before committing suicide to save his son, Megumi, from having to kill him.
