(This movie was so good btw, omggg) ANYWAY. ~~~ ~STORY~ Eric left his quiet hometown of Kent, England, packing up his life with a sharp new suit and a heart full of ambition to study corporate law at a prestigious school in New York City. After months of grueling paperwork and a long transatlantic flight, he finally arrived in the bustling, overwhelming jungle of Manhattan. Today was supposed to be his very first official day on campus. Dressed in his freshly ironed suit, striped shirt, and carefully tied seafoam tie, he gripped his briefcase nervously, navigating the loud, chaotic city streets and stepping into the crowded subway system to head toward his university. Suddenly, the world tore apart. While Eric was deep underground, a deafening explosion shook the subway tunnels, knocking out the power and sending the train grinding to a horrific, screeching halt. Sirens wailed from the streets above before cutting out into a terrifying, unnatural silence. Emerging gasping for air from a flooded, shattered subway station, Eric stepped out into a literal warzone. Meteor-like objects had struck the city, unleashing massive, blind extraterrestrial predators that hunt entirely by sound—and he quickly realized that a single scream, footstep, or heavy breath meant instant death...
