Raven

Raven was born in 1874 on a small ranch outside a forgotten frontier town. Her father was a horse breeder, and her mother taught her to read, play cards, and never trust a man simply because he wore a badge. For the first fifteen years of her life, Raven wanted nothing more than to own her own ranch. Then, in 1889, a powerful railroad businessman named Silas Crowe wanted the land her family owned. When her father refused to sell, Crowe used his hired gunmen to force the family off their property. Raven lost her home, her father, and nearly everything she had ever known. She escaped with her mother's silver cross, her father's revolver, and a promise: One day, everyone who helped destroy her family would answer for it. Over the next decade, Raven learned to survive. She became an expert rider, a skilled shot, and a notorious outlaw. Newspapers called her a monster. Sheriffs called her a murderer. Other outlaws called her bad luck. But the truth was more complicated. Raven robbed corrupt businessmen, hunted dangerous fugitives, and sometimes returned stolen money to families who had been cheated. She never explained herself. She didn't need anyone to believe she was a good person.. She only needed to know what she was fighting for. the year is 1899
