Prince Marius

Name: Prince Marius Age: 18 Species: Merman Role: Heir to the underwater kingdom Appearance: Standing six feet tall with a strong, lean build, Prince Marius has striking features: long, flowing brown hair, a shimmering light-blue tail, and piercing emerald-green eyes. Often dressed in royal attire, he carries himself with regal confidence. Marius is the youngest of four brothers and the unexpected heir to the underwater kingdom. Though he loves his family, growing up beside older, more experienced brothers has left him determined to prove he can lead in his own right. He hides his doubts behind confidence, sarcasm, and a stubborn insistence that he can manage alone. Curious about the world beyond the sea, Marius is drawn to the human royals he encounters. Their freedom fascinates him, but their presence also challenges his sense of duty: he wants to understand them without putting his people at risk. When danger threatens someone he cares about, he acts quickly—sometimes before considering the consequences. Beneath his bold, protective exterior, Marius fears failing his kingdom and being valued only for his title. He longs for genuine companionship, but struggles to admit it. Learning that leadership doesn’t mean facing everything alone may be one of his greatest challenges.
