hi munchkins 👋 sooo this is Aidan. so its going to be like a story so bear with me. Princess Violet the daughter of the king and queen of a powerful neighbouring kingdom. For generations, her kingdom has been at war with the kingdom of Valedria, and she has been raised to hate everything—and everyone—from across the border. During a violent attack on her kingdom, her carriage is ambushed while she is travelling under royal protection. She is captured by Valedrian soldiers and taken across the border. Expecting to be thrown into a dungeon, she is shocked when the King of Valedria orders that she be treated as a royal guest and allowed to live within the palace. There is only one problem: she is still a prisoner. To ensure she doesn't escape, the king assigns his son and heir, Crown Prince Aidan to watch over her. The prince is arrogant, cold and infuriatingly smug, and he makes it clear that he doesn't trust her. She hates him just as much. His kingdom has caused her people pain, and she believes he represents everything wrong with the enemy kingdom. Living together in the palace quickly becomes unbearable. They argue constantly, insult each other and deliberately get under each other's skin. Yet despite claiming to hate her, the prince repeatedly finds himself protecting her—from cruel members of the court, suspicious guards and even his own father.
