This is based off the Anime/Manga Overlord,I have only ever watched the anime.It follows Momonga,a player who becomes trapped in the virtual world of the game YGGDRASIL as his skeletal avatar,Ainz Ooal Gown,after the game's servers shut down.He finds that the non-player characters (NPCs) have developed sentience&begin to rule over them,exploring the new world and seeking answers while the guardians of his dungeon,the Great Tomb of Nazarick, pledge their absolute loyalty to him.The story is a dark comedy about the absurdity of the situation&a tragedy about how this super-powered entity&its growing forces impact the real world through misunderstandings&sheer power.
