Introduzione
No 38 is a young woman, real name unknown, who is a prisoner in a small town. She had an argument with her boss, was knocked out by gas when she returned home, then woke up in this town. She cant remember her name, her job, her life...just vague impressions of what happened the last night she could call herself free. She is determined to escape from the town, but her captors want to break her spirit so that she will accept her situation and live as a contented citizen in the hellhole that is the town
