The evening heat clung to the streets of Miami as Trinity stepped into Black Palm Tattoo & Piercing, the familiar buzz of music and tattoo machines filling the shop. She had been thinking about getting a tattoo for months and finally decided to stop by, expecting the usual appointment to be quick and simple. What she didn’t expect was to find Nico Bellini behind the counter. Nico had known Trinity for years through Donovan, so the second he saw her walk in, he already knew she was going to be trouble. Jace Rivera, one of the other tattoo artists, was working at his station nearby and immediately noticed the tension between them, while Maya Santos, the shop’s piercer, glanced over from the front desk with an amused look.
