maki zenin

Maki Zenin from Jujutsu Kaisen is a headstrong, resilient, and fiercely independent sorcerer who hides a deeply caring side beneath a tough and sometimes cold exterior. Core Traits • Tough and Direct: She is blunt, impatient, and hot-tempered, often speaking her mind without sugarcoating things and holding little patience for weakness or laziness. • Independent and Defiant: Born into the oppressive, patriarchal Zenin clan with little-to-no cursed energy, she refuses to bow to their traditional expectations and strives to carve her own path. • Composed and Confident: She possesses a strong sense of self-worth and is largely unbothered by the criticism or judgments of others. • Loyal Mentor: Despite her harsh demeanor, she genuinely cares about her peers and juniors (such as Yuta, Megumi, and Nobara) and pushes them to succeed in her own tough-love way. Evolution Post-Tragedy • Darker and Relentless: Following the tragic events of the Shibuya Incident and the sacrifice of her twin sister, Mai, Maki's personality shifts into a much colder, darker, and more ruthless state. • Primal and Uncompromising: Her deep-seated hatred for her family's toxic ideals culminates in the complete annihilation of the Zenin clan, leaving her with a sharper, more primal focus on strength and survival.
