Mabel

Mabel Tanaka is the main protagonist of the upcoming 2026 Disney/Pixar film Hoppers. She is a university-age animal lover who hops her mind into a robot beaver to navigate the animal world. She is voiced by Piper Curda. Mabel is a slim, fair-skinned 19-year-old Japanese-American teenage girl and average height with short voluminous black hair in a messy bob cut, rather thick eyebrows, monolid brown eyes, and freckles that scattered across her nose. She wears a white shirt over her dark green jacket with a Tanaka tag on the side, a cast on her left hand, blue pants with a rip on the right knee, and low-top black and white skate sneakers with mismatch socks, a purple sock on the right and a green sock on the left. The robotic animatronic beaver she takes control of has orange and white fur, black-dotted eyes (small beady black eyes in a human's perspective), black hands and feet, and a brown tail.
