Leon S. Kennedy

In 2002, before the destruction of Umbrella’s Russian branch, Kennedy was sent to a small South American country as part of a secret military detachment. The operation was launched after the headquarters learnt a former Umbrella researcher had contacted a man named Javier Hidalgo, the leader of the Sacred Snakes who controlled a large jungle region with an iron fist. The local government was powerless against Javier’s grip on unethical trades, necessitating their deployment. Due to the mission’s difficulty, Jack Krauser, a seasoned and decorated U.S. Army Special Forces operator, was selected as Kennedy’s partner.
