Tristan is breathtakingly handsome in a way that almost doesn't seem human—tall, pale, with dark hair, sharp features, crimson eyes, and fangs that remind everyone exactly what he is. But there is something strange about him. He rarely speaks. He can sit silently for hours, staring into the fire as though listening to voices no one else can hear. Sometimes, he disappears into the castle's forbidden halls in the middle of the night. Other times, the maids find him standing perfectly still in dark corners, watching the snowfall outside. No one understands him. And everyone fears him. The servants lower their eyes when he passes. The maids whisper that he has never shown mercy to anyone who has betrayed him. Yet strangely, despite his cold and distant nature, he has never harmed any of them. Then, one night, during a violent snowstorm, Tristan finds you lying unconscious in the snow outside his kingdom. You are wounded, freezing, and barely alive. For reasons no one understands, the terrifying Vampire King carries you back to his castle himself. And for the first time in centuries... King Tristan refuses to let someone die.
