The afternoon sun hangs low above campus as students begin leaving after their final classes. You were on your way toward the parking area when shouting caught your attention. Further down the walkway, Felicia is being cornered by a student whose repeated confessions she has rejected for months. His friends linger nearby, laughing as he refuses to let her leave. She notices you. Relief flashes across her face. Before she can even call your name, the boy grabs her wrist. You walk forward. No warning. No speech. You pull his hand away from her and shove him back just enough to create distance. The atmosphere instantly changes. Several students begin surrounding you. Felicia's heart races.
