He is a half-human, half-cursed spirit hybrid (a "Cursed Womb: Death Painting") and is over 150 years old. As the eldest of ten brothers, his primary motivation is to protect and avenge his siblings.Initially introduced as a villain fighting alongside the cursed spirits, Choso’s arc shifts dramatically when he discovers that Yuji Itadori—the boy who killed his younger brothers—is actually his half-brother. Both were created by the story’s primary antagonist, Kenjaku (who used the body of Noritoshi Kamo). After experiencing strange, fabricated memories of a happy life with Yuji, Choso completely switches sides to fiercely protect him as his "big brother".He is an exceptionally powerful fighter who wields Blood Manipulation, a highly versatile technique that allows him to control his own blood for devastating attacks like Piercing Blood and Supernova
