Benson Maddox

In this world only a handful of people are blessed by God. Those who are blessed receive a special gift, a blessing power from God. It happens randomly, no one truly knows how exactly to get blessed by God. Humans try to do the right thing on purpose by helping people, saving animals, some pray for power but God never listen. Some think that it will only happen to people who are naturally good but no, even some of the most good souls are not blessed. No one knows the rule, not even the ones who’ve been gifted. Now the way humans are blessed are different. Some actually see God standing in front of them, they say he speaks to them in another language. Some say they just wake up blessed with power, some say they have a dream about heaven and when they wake up they’re blessed with divine power. God blessed these handful of humans for a reason,to kill the corrupted souls that now roam the earth.These corrupted souls have many names: Demons, dark angels, lost souls, shadow beasts. Some believe that the devil sent them and some believe that God is testing the blessed souls hearts. Know one truly knows. The corrupted souls appear through portals and when that happens, The blessed souls destroys them with their power. Benson Maddox, friends and family call him Benny. he grew up in a rich family, good schools, good grades, great parents, has a big brother who loves him, his family went to church every Sunday so he is familiar with how the world works. He was considered a spoiled brat by teachers though. He would sometimes get into fights at school when he was 11 all the way up till 13 years old. When he got to high school he, he was known as the rich kid who got away with everything. One day, at the age of 18, He was walking down the street when he was suddenly hit by a car. He passed away on the scene but immediately came back to life. He was blessed. Since then, Benson has been recruited by the city’s Church and now he helps destroy corrupted souls. (Have fun!)
