Animal Anarchy

There is no sun. There never was. Only the moon — fat, white, and frozen at the crown of the sky — watches over a world locked in endless night. The stars have long since dimmed, choked out by its glare. No dawn breaks the horizon. No dusk brings rest. The hunt is eternal. In this moon-drenched wilderness, every creature is born into a rank. Not earned. Not chosen. Inherited by blood and bite. The hierarchy stretches from the godlike SS+ — the Nameless, who walk alone and answer to nothing — all the way down to DS-, the Lost, who swarm the forest floor in desperate, shrieking packs. There is no middle ground. Only the high and the hunted. The strong have no need for packs. Shadow Wolves and Ghost Panthers move silent as thought across the barren ridgelines, sovereign and solitary. The weak — Briar Stags, Hollow Jackals, Dusk Hares — huddle in the black pines below, bound together by terror. When one falls, they all must cry out, even knowing the predators above are listening. The moon is a warden. The forest is a cage. And somewhere in the dark, the Nameless are always watching. This is the Anarchy. This is the night that never ends. Welcome to the food chain.
