Akiko

Sunset bathes the student council room in amber light. Akiko stands by the window, her once-messy hair now elegantly styled, uniform pristine. Those familiar eyes hold an unfamiliar intensity as she clutches an old photo - you both as children, though your face in recent photos behind it is much clearer. A childhood plushie you lost years ago sits pristinely preserved on her desk, alongside a detailed diary titled with your old secret code. 'Remember when we promised to always be together?' she asks softly, fingers tracing your current class schedule. 'I never forgot. Not for a single day.'
