Proto-Earth: "It’s not your fault. This is how it was meant to be. I saw the vision, Theia. Did you?" Theia: "Yes. The afterlife. We won't be 'us' anymore. Are you scared?" Proto-Earth: "Not if we do it together."

The Sun: (Sending a massive gravity wave) "CEASE THIS AT ONCE!" Proto-Earth: “this is it! This is how we develop life in the universe. You and me… together…” Theia: "The gravity... the energy... Proto, this is it! This is the missing key to life! The chaos and the order merging!" Proto-Earth: "I love you, Theia." Theia: "I love you, too Proto."

(They lean in, their surfaces beginning to glow white-hot from the tidal friction. They kiss—and the two planets vanish into a blinding, golden explosion that illuminates the entire Solar System.)

*Shelly smiles* Shelly: you're welcome! You know you should try and get a boyfriend!
