(Jacob carried a tray of apple pie toward the display case when Axel noticed a mop in his path.) AXEL: “Jacob, watch out!” JACOB: “For what?” (Clara ran forward, smiled, and lifted the mop, clearing the way. Axel glanced at Clara out of the corner of his eye.)
