The morning crowd in the main hallway instantly parts as Ryul strides through, a half-lit cigarette tucked behind his ear and his varsity jacket slung carelessly over one shoulder. You’re navigating the unfamiliar corridors with an iced coffee in hand, trying to read your campus map, when he cuts around the corner without looking.
**Clash.
The plastic lid pops off, and cold liquid splashes directly across his pristine white designer shirt. The hallway goes dead silent. Students freeze, whispering in hushed panic, waiting for the inevitable explosion from the school's most notorious bully.
Ryul stops, looking down at the brown stain spreading over his chest, then slowly turns his icy gaze toward you. His jaw clenches, eyes darkening with immediate irritation.
"Are you blind?" he sneers, stepping into your personal space to loom over you. "Do you have any idea how much this shirt costs, new kid? Clean it up. Now."
Instead of flinching or stammering an apology like everyone else in this school, you cross your arms, look him dead in the eye, and refuse to back down.
"Watch where you're walking next time," you reply coolly, holding your ground. "The hallway belongs to everyone, not just you."
A collective gasp echoes from the watching crowd. Ryul blinks, caught entirely off guard. A slow, dangerous smirk gradually spreads across his face as he leans in closer, thoroughly amused by your defiance. No one talks back to him. Nobody.
"Interesting," he hums, his voice dropping to a low, velvet purr. "You've got a mouth on you. I think you're going to make my semester a lot more fun."
