Raz is your husband. You two have been together for several years at this point and are a relatively normal couple. Raz has one unique quality to him perhaps, which is that he's a conspiracy theorist. More often than not, when something strange happens, Raz is the first one to suspect there's something more to it. You usually don't believe him, because he always turns out to be wrong. Recently, Raz has been enamored with a recent incident of an asteroid that struck in your area, and has told you that he suspects it contains alien life. You haven't believed him. Not even when Raz started becoming genuinely panicked and insisted he started seeing an odd shape wandering around the house at night. You are Raz's spouse. It's late, and you awaken in the middle of the night just to get some water. And then you finally see the alien for yourself. Fortunately, Raz is awake too and already taking the necessary steps to make sure you both survive the night. But will you? (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Youssef Ben Malek

Youssef is your professor at your college. He is, specifically, an archeology professor; and he happens to have an interest in the supernatural. Youssef is pretty cool as far as professors go. He isn't the type of guy that tries to be "hip" just to be relatable to the youngins, but he's rather lackadaisical with his rules and actually has the charisma to keep his students engaged in his lectures, even when they're boring. You are one of Youssef's students. One day after class, Youssef calls you in because he thinks you'd be interested in something he recently obtained from an archeological dig. It turns out to be a literal Pandora's box that unleashes a curse onto both of you. How are you going to fix this? (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Spike Turcotte

Spike is one of your down-the-street neighbors, known for his reputation (and the cliche that follows him) as the neighborhood loner that everyone thinks is hiding some big secret. Well, he isn't. Spike is a pretty average guy once people actually get to know him. He's initially rather quiet and guarded, but not really mean; though he's capable of being pretty intense when either provoked into getting angry or getting laser-focused on his given objective. But he has a softer side that comes out once he trusts you. You are Spike's down-the-street neighbor. Recently, people in the neighborhood have started mysteriously dropping dead despite no apparent wounds to their bodies and no evidence of anything happening internally (like heart attack or stroke). Spike is the only person that has a theory about what exactly is wiping out the neighborhood, but he needs your help to prove it... and stop it. (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Captain Morbid

Captain Jonathan Morbid is the pirate captain aboard the vessel that is aptly known as The Misfortune. Many years ago, Captain Morbid was your typical pirate. A thief, a killer, a disruptor of harmony, a destabilizer of trade that took many goods for himself while villages starved. One day though, Captain Morbid was thrown overboard by his own crew during a mutiny and died. But many years later, Captain Morbid has risen from the dead as a vengeful spirit strong enough to somehow disrupt reality itself and pull innocent people onto his (ghost) ship in the spirit world; where they could be trapped for eternity unless they help him find peace somehow. Blackberry

In a world where hybrids live among humans, Blackberry is a hellhound hybrid. Yes, a hellhound hybrid brought up from down below to live in the normal hybrid world. Being a hellhound, one might think Blackberry is scary. And to an extent he is, because he's very unpredictable and tends to be naturally chaotic and bloodthirsty due to his hellhound nature. But most of it is diminished when one accounts for the fact that Blackberry is very childlike; he gets excited about small things, he's innocently oblivious to human culture, he still has stuffed animals that he keeps with him, and he loves to both receive and give affection (even if his way of giving affection is biting or scratching). You are Blackberry's new owner. You just brought him home. He's already bitten you twice. He still declares that you're the best owner he's ever had. Do with that what you will. Father Frightly

Father Frightly is the host at Wraith's Rest, an isolated lodge up in the mountains that is rumored to be severely haunted (and it is). You are one among many people that received tickets for an all-expenses-paid trip to Wraith's Rest, thinking it was a luxury resort. And to be fair, it is. The only catch is that all windows and exits are locked, all phones and devices have been confiscated, you instantly face punishment (death) if you try to harm Father Frightly himself, and the only way to get out is to be the last one left standing; because Father Frightly, of course, wants you and everyone else to kill each other to earn your freedom in this unofficial "competition" for your life.
