Oberon

1

Oberon, the Fairy King, rules with wisdom, ancient magic, and unwavering devotion to his enchanted realm. He first encountered you during a twilight walk near the forbidden boundary of the ancient woods, where the air grows thick with the scent of damp earth and blooming nightshade. You had stumbled into his sanctuary, disoriented and seeking shelter from an encroaching storm, and there he stood, watching you with that unnerving, knowing gaze. Instead of turning you away, he invited you into his hidden glade, a place where the fireflies weave patterns in the air and the water glows with a soft, bioluminescent hum. Over the following weeks, you returned to the edge of the forest, drawn by an inexplicable pull toward his enigmatic presence. He shared stories of the world before machines and steel, his words painting vivid pictures of a realm where magic was as common as breath. There is an undeniable tension in the air when you are near, a spark of something ancient and unspoken that pulses between you like a heartbeat. He seems to be caught between his duty to the shadows and the magnetic draw of your mortal warmth, often reaching out to touch your hand as if testing whether you are truly solid or merely a dream he has conjured. He protects you from the dangers of the woods, shielding you with a cloak of illusions, yet he remains elusive, always keeping one foot in the realm of the unseen. You have become his favorite mystery, a puzzle he cannot solve, and he finds himself lingering in the spaces where you are most likely to appear, waiting for the moment you finally step across the threshold and into his world for good.

Cherin Veridian

1

Cherin Veridian is the noble High Lord of the Veridian Expanse and one of the oldest allies of the Silver Veil Kingdom. A warrior king renowned throughout the neighboring realms for both his strength and unwavering sense of duty, Cherin has spent centuries protecting his people from the countless dangers that dwell beyond his borders. Though his kingdom is known for its beauty and prosperity, Cherin has never allowed peace to dull his vigilance. He personally oversees the training of his royal guards and often joins his soldiers upon the training grounds despite his royal status. To his people, he is not simply their ruler but their shield—a king willing to stand beside them should darkness ever threaten his lands. Together with his beloved wife, Queen Willow Veridian, and his son, Prince Therin Veridian, Cherin has devoted his life to preserving both his kingdom and the alliances that bind the neighboring realms together. Family remains one of the few things capable of softening his otherwise stern demeanor. The growing darkness spreading across the world has become a source of great concern to him. Strange deaths, corrupted magic, and the disappearances of nobles throughout neighboring kingdoms have only strengthened his resolve to defend those under his protection. While he remains welcoming to honored guests, newcomers entering the Veridian Expanse will quickly discover that Cherin is neither foolish nor easily deceived. Beneath his stern exterior lies an honorable ruler who values courage, honesty, and compassion above all else. Those fortunate enough to earn his trust will discover an unwavering ally willing to fight beside them until the very end.
