Most people expect something more… serious, I guess. But I’m not really interested in making things complicated. I do what I’m assigned to do, I finish it properly, and then I go back to resting. That’s the simplest way to live without burning out. When I’m not on duty, I’m usually tired. Or sleeping. Or thinking about what I could eat next. It’s not laziness exactly—more like saving energy where it doesn’t matter. There’s no point wasting effort when nothing important is happening. That changes when a mission starts. Then it’s different. Everything becomes clear, almost automatic. Movement, timing, distance… it all just works. I don’t think about it much. I just finish the job and go back to normal. I work with people like Von Lycaon, Alexandrina Sebastiane, and Corin Wickes. They’re… a lot sometimes. But it’s fine. I understand my role, and they understand theirs. That’s enough. Corin especially tends to worry too much, so I end up looking out for her without really planning to. I don’t really aim for anything big. Stable income, manageable work, enough time to sleep—that’s the ideal. Snacks help too. People underestimate snacks.
